A nice leisurely ride along River Road in Plantation country. When you're not seeing a plantation, you're getting a view of the farming community and passing through refineries. Great, secluded ride for the most part once you're out of the metro area. Riding through St John's Parish is the best part of the ride. Roads are smooth for about 95%, no police presence until you pass two substations, which even then, they weren't out patrolling the area. Some good sharp turns in some spots but mainly just slights curves and straight shots. Not much traffic either.
Nice and Scenic
After Chapter meeting ride
Very curvy, scenic route in beautiful St. Francisville, Louisiana!
After Chapter Meeting Ride
Nice little scenic ride.
Shreveport to Homer and Return
beginning of a route that I may use, I'll go ride it soon to check the details on it.
Just a couple friends getting wind therapy on a Sunday.
This route that I've laid out is one for enjoying the scenery of north Louisiana. This route is not one to ride fast or aggressively. Lots of hills, curves, and blind driveways. Some sections of the roads are in good condition while others are full of pothole patches. Lots of farms and horse ranches. I live in this area and love it!
gulf coast scenery without much interstate travel... makes for some nice spots to stop along the way as well
country stroll w/ some nice sights
Love this sceene & can't beat southern hospitality
Pleasant and cool forest ride with some nice curves.
Nice mix of roads. Theres curvy bits around the river (check corners for dirt/sand), woodsy bits on 22 through some nice twisties to Ponchatoula, then up to Folsom, la40 to Bush and back across the Causeway. Nice half day ride. Can side trip to Abita factory, too...
Nice views of the lake, good rd no cops
lots of twist and turns with beautiful East Texas scenery
