One more added enjoyment - after passing the loch at the top and dropping down to Glen Lyon, put the bike in neutral, switch off the engine, coasting - enjoying the sound of silence.
A great alternative rural route when traversing Perthshire. Taken south to north from Killin. A827 from Killin at about 5 miles, turn left into the Ben Lawers park towards Bridge of Balgie and Glen Lyon. This is a single track for about 12 miles with spectacular views of Ben Lawers, smaller peaks and surrounding glens.
