3.0This is more of a route to brag to your buddies, "I road some hair raising mountain roads and saw a bear" then " I road some sick back roads" This trip will be a mix of interstate and one lane roads so could get boring between the rewards of the mountain passes.
3.0Nice jaunt through the back roads in Tidewater South. Watch out for the occasional farm equipment and horse trailers. Nice ride on the Currituck to Knotts Island Ferry, although the map tool diverts around. Meet for coffee at the Cracker Barrell. Good lunch spots at Blue Pete's and Monk's Place.
4.0A pleasant country ride west to DC with lots of nice corners and some very good scenery.
5.0Great Virginia roads....made for cruising along at 45-60 mph. Great sight lines, very good to fantastic road surfaces on SR 634, SR 14. Excellent sight lines and good road surfaces on SR 632
This is a nice 3-4 hour ride and the classic Virginia roads will leave you smiling!
3.0spring grove to woolwine. twisties and nice roads.
5.0Great Curves and Stunning Nature along one of America's best motorcycling roads Approximately 500 miles of some of the best and most scenic twisting tarmac in North America. Enjoying the beautiful nature and the stunning curves all the way from Asheville, North Carolina into Roanoke, Virginia. This is very nicely maintained road with lots of grip but there can also be wildlife (deers, bears, etc) so be on the lookout for those! Highest section between Soco Gap and Wagon Road Gap a particular highlight Note: Some sections of this road are closed in winter.
4.0This route includes many different areas of interest along the way to include the Blue Ridge Parkway and all of its stops. Charlottesville has allot of points of interest as well as Lynchbrug. Then there is the Nottoway Falls which is a waterfall in Nottoway County at the reservoir. Then there is the small town of Blackstone where I live which is just nice.
3.0Good Ride
4.0Great run through country roads, wide open double lanes. Watch out for tourists in the summer.
4.0corners and straight aways all through little to no traffic roads.
3.0The starting point is windy and hilly giving you a few places to speed up before having to slow back down, however once you leave Joplin there are long stretches of open road with very few stops.
4.0Great rural backroad riding!
4.0Rectortown Rd is a pretty rough road. Just go easy and it is not very long of a patch.
4.0Nice road trip in to WV and back
3.0route begins and ends at Hampton Roads Harley Davidson. First 3/4 is mostly Rural, but last 1/4 is semi-suburban. Good Lunch stops in Surry and Smithfield
4.0Great road, but many blind corners and the possibility of animals in the road so be cautious.
2.5A pleasant excursion from the highway and the shops!
4.0Running straight into George Washington National Forest and up the side of a mountain. Some tricky hairpins and switchbacks here :-)
