Nice corners, good road surface. Traffic is a bit heavy at some points.
An easy route to remember, and within a few miles of London. I went very early on a Sunday morning and would advise you to fill up petrol and coffee before the route because none of the shops were open before 9. After 9 it was full of bikes so it's clearly a good ride that's known about. Most of the road surface was good. There were a few corners that some people can probably get their knee down on, and have good visibility. Thaxted is a lovely historic town that's worth stopping in especially with a camera.
A superb country route to Finchingfield.
