I grew up in Pikeville and 30 is one of the best roads around. Up and down several mountains is great and for a side trip go to Fall Creek Falls State Park between Pikeville and Spencer to see the highest waterfall east of the Mississippi River.
Great surroundings, lots of different things to see, excellent selection of corners, very good.
