Great rural roads but make sure you confirm the weather for Brier Island before going because depending on the winds it can get quite cool or foggy out on the islands. Its worth the drive though when its nice, both islands have very old fishing villages on them. Brier Island has a nice little restaurant/takeout that opens after May long weekend so we usually save our appetites for there fish and chips. Also, if you dont mind riding on a dirt road for 5 minutes there is a nice lighthouse at the end of the road on Brier island. You will have to take 2 ferries to get to Brier Island, each one costs $5 going to the islands, there is no charge to come back.
